Create Unique Health & Fitness Class Course Cover Images
Sat Aug 28, 2021
Hi There New Trainer!
In this post, we will explain how to create course cover images that represent your brand of health and fitness training.
We have created a template on Canva, for you to customise, so that you can easily illustrate what you classes are about (types of health & fitness training), as well as your banding, and personality.
You can use the course cover template that we have created for Fit4Mii trainers. When you open the link to the course cover template, please select "make a copy" so that the design is saved to your on our Canva account, and that the original template is left unedited for the next trainer to use.
You are able to replace the place holder images for the trainer, logo and course photo. The course photo can be an image from the content of the course, or a stock image. Please ensure that you have permission to use any photos in your Course Cover. Fit4Mii recommends Canva.com and Pexels.com for free Images.
The Course Cover Design Should be 600x400px, please download your course cover as a high Quality PNG. If you have additional needs and require assistance in creating your cover photos, please contact Fit4Mii.
Fit4Mii aims to be an inclusive and accessible fitness app, so it's very important for us that trainers use the course covers to provide a visual representation of their class.
We ask that trainers use this icon for classes and services that are adapted, and are suitable for those with limited mobility / disabilities / injuries. E.G.: classes that are suitable for the elderly /seniors. An example of a class in this category would be "Seated Yoga". Please only use this icon for classes that are suitable for those who require adaptations to the workout. Please also include information about the adaptations in the course descriptions so that members can clearly see whether the class is good fit for them.
The Deaf / Hearing impaired icon is there to let fitness members know that an adaptation is there for those who have audio impairments. Of course, classes in which the trainer is using sign-language. These types of classes and courses may be books, and PDF's (where hearing is not required) or videos that have subtitles. YouTube has an auto-generated subtitles option. we highly recommend all trainers use this feature if they are streaming live into the app.
We Trust our trainers to know their course content and which of the categories best describe the activities within their classes and courses. We encourage trainers to use the same categories in the course builder. Please only use categories that apply to the classes that you are teaching.
The Cardio class icon is used when the course / class requires the client to work to the cardio heart rate training zone. Classes that fall under this category could be indoor cycling, Step, and HiiT.
The Health icon should be used for low-intensity classes and courses, where the focus is on lower intensity exercise. Classes such as Pilates and Yoga may need this icon.
The Tone Icon should be used for classes and courses that have elements or a focus on resistance training. Classes that may fall into this category are Legs, Bums & Tums and Muscle Gain.
The Kids & family icon should be used for all classes that have a family focus. Pre-and postnatal classes also come under this category (as we assume new mothers will have their baby close by whilst they workout).
The nutrition icon should be used for all classes and courses where Nutrition is a major element. This could include recipe books, diet plans, webinars, and private nutrition services.
The Live class icon is to be used ONLY when the class / webinar / podcast (etc) are being streamed live through Fit4Mii. Pre-recorded content should not be advertised as live.
Fit4Mii uses country flags to illustrate which language the course is being taught in. E.G. United Kingdom would indicate the class is in UK English. Please use the flags even if the course is taught in Sign Language, Please use the flag that best illustrates the version of sign language.
