The reasons for the causes of disability can vary and can be caused by a variety of conditions or accidents.
So considering that almost half of us will have some sort of disability by the time we retire, why aren’t we more inclusive of those with differing needs?
The health and fitness industry tends to leave out those with disabilities, but not us at Fit4Mii. We ensure that we provide a wide-range of classes for those with long-term health conditions and disabilities. We want to ensure that our clients who have differing needs are able to take part in health and fitness training.
We ask that our clients with disabilities inform us of their additional needs, they are also listed as VIP members, which means that team Fit4Mii provides more support and direction to these members to ensure that they have equity within Fit4Mii app.
We have seated Yoga, seated Pilates, corrective exercise and we are also adding seated dance classes!

Success is determined by discipline, so you should set clear goals and plan for your worst days -those days when you just don’t want to workout , or skip the fatty meal.
So what can you do to increase your chances of success by being disciplined?
1. KNOW YOUR WEAKNESSES.
What are the days / times that make you want to workout less? What causes a “bad day”. Yes plan for these things -because they WILL happen! So allow yourself the treats when you feel gloomy (especially during pms!), and include light exercise like walking or yoga, even just meditation will still keep you on track for achieving your goals.
2. CREATE A SCHEDULE.
Have set times to focus on your health and fitness, and keep to the schedule as much as possible. Not only will this provide you with routine. You will be able to track your habits better too.
3. REWARD YOURSELF.
Make sure you link weekly / monthly achievements to cool treats for you. Shift the focus from body goals to simply turning up. The rewards will be a motivation even if your body goals are still a work in progress.

Having good health is very important to our daily lives. It is not just the outside of our bodies we need to take care of but also the inside.
